Hello,

I recently purchased my moto q phone and I love it, but when I try to plug it into my computer usb.....a message pops up and says that I need to enter a password! What password could this be??? I never established one, I already have the program ActiveSync.

if you device lock the Q it will require that same password when syncing..

no activesync isnt asking for a password, my computer is. I never set a password on the phone, but as soon as I plug it into my computer, the computer asks me for a password.

If the phone doesn't ask you for a password when it boots then it has no password.

Depending on the model Q you have an activesync password prompt shows on the phone or on the pc.

The only other password I could think of is a network password to access your outlook data on a pc network.
