Outlook and auto populate

Just got the Q last week after having the 8525 for a year. One of the nice functions in Outlook on the 8525 was when you began to type a name, it began to auto populate names from your contact list. A friend of mine has Sprint's version of the Q and that functionality works also for email. If you go to the contact list of the Q, and begin to type names, the auto populate works here.

Any thoughts or changes I can make to make this work in email? It is very frustrating to constantly have to go and check names before sending each email.
