Thanks for the replies, everyone. I want to sync my contacts, tasks, etc. When I was reading on the Palm website about how to transfer the info from Palm Desktop to Windows Mobile, it says "download Outlook from the CD that came with your smartphone." But my CD doesn't have it, so I was rather confused. Apparently, Sprint doesn't supply it. No worries, though, b/c I found an old Microsoft Office CD-ROM and was able to install Outlook on my computer. Hope this version of ActiveSync is compatible with Outlook 2002!

if active sync 4.5 doesnt work search for 4.2 and that will work

is there any way I can just sync my contacts from a palm centro and transfer .cab files and what not to my Q from my computer without Outlook?

send contacts over bluetooth from centro to Q and use active sync to transfer files
