I recently had the problem w/a "not enough memory" notification. After deleting some unneeded files, I deleted a couple of .mpb files. (I still don't know what these files are). When I did this, all of my homepage icons changed to the Windows icon! I then did a hard reset to get everything back to semi-normal. (Now my real problem...) My device will no longer send emails. I receive them fine, although I initially get the message "An erro occirred while downloading messages. Verify that you have network coverage and that your account info is correct and then try again". I never rec'd this message before I performed the hard reset. Anyone know how to repair this?
I think these files are Motorola-based but now I'm afraid to delete them. I thought maybe my device was storing old text messages even after I thought i had deleted them.
Thanks, I redid the email set up and that didn't take care of the problem. Guess I'll have to go (gaaahhhddd) to the Sprint store and see if those techs can solve it.
You might have to use the sprint's outgoing server address to send outgoing emails. Some email providers won't allow you to send emails from a different network
