Default Other options for email?

I've heard that the verizon wireless sync cost money to use for email, is this true and how much does it cost?

Is there another option for setting up a pop3 account?

I would use active sync with my exchange server, but I can't get it to work and gave up for now.

WirelessSync is free -- it just uses data (arguably less data than POP3 access). Just sign up at http://www.wirelesssync.vzw.com

Regarding ActiveSync/exchange -- you have to have Exchange 2003 with ActiveSync connections allowed (if you have the web-interface enabled, that MIGHT be all that is requried but I am from from an Exchange admin)

Also -- you can access POP3 accounts directly from your Q, although I personally recommend WirelessSync on the VZW network.

Ahh, I thought I heard someone saying it costs money to use. I have the unlimited data plan. I kinda removed the wireless sync program because I was afraid of getting some big bill, do you know how I can add it again?

I think active sync with exchange hasn't been working because we don't have web outlook on our exchange server, but I'm not an expert either.

You probably need to install the cert from your domain. You can export this from your OWA on that exchange server.
