One Dead Q =( Plz HELP!

Hey guys,
Sad news, my Q died on me over the weekend. I plugged it into my friends HPC mogul charger, same plug same charge right.... maybe not =/


Come back and it's in white and rainbow screen of death


It wont take a charge
It wont turn on
I can get it into flash boot mode by plugging it into the computer.

So... what are my options? I would do more searching but work is crazy right now and I need to decide if I need to buy a new phone by the end of the day.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try doing the reset\update using a different battery

If you have insurance, juust swap it

just leave it pluged in for a while ..... what does it do when u plug it in with your charger ?

now it does nothing....

Well, gentelmen, it was fun, but I think I'm leaving to go get a HPC touch.... sad cause I know that there are OS problem on that phone too =/ But being newer, I'm guessing there will be more firmware support to find.

were you able to try a different battery?

a decent repair shop may let you test one to see if that saves the device.

and if it does nothing this hapens when your battery is fully dead .. its weird but your Q has to be charged to charge so just leave it pluged in over night then try to turn it on ....

you can also take the battery out, plug in the wall or car charger and see if it boots. If it doesn, you know your battery is toast. (yeah tost)

Thank you for the suggestion, but that didn't help...

OK so I want to try a reinstall from flash mode. I got flash mode to come up again when pluged into the PC

Anyone know where I can find a complete OS installer for the flash mode??

T minus 30 min till I call sprint and order a new phone =(
