Notes recording to storage card?

Is there a way to redirect the notes / voice recorder to be directed to record on ther card? I am using my Moto Q to record a quiet band rehearsal of a drummer and a bass player and myself. I run out of time right now and would like the comfort of 2gb of blank space to record onto.

anyone? It would be great to be able to record to the card as right now I run out of room after 10 minutes.
