I know this has been addressed on this forum but I could not find the thread. I cannot hear music files even with volume at 100%. This just started happening so I'm sure I must have changed a setting somewhere. Is there a mute or volume control other than the thumb wheel?
Thanks!

The tech tip did not help me. I push and hold the wheel and nothing happens; no beep, no change in volume, no slider display. If I roll the wheel after pressing it, the profiles interface comes up.

This is very puzzling. I have tried 'bout everything I can think of and I am getting no audio, except in phone calls. Even the (loud) voice recognition program is silent now. No audio for WinMedia Player, etc..

Stumped.

This has been a minor problem of many people before. If you hold down the scroll wheel for around 2 or 3 seconds it will change to the earpiece volume. Seems like you may not be holding it down long enough.
