No Ringer on Wall charger!! GRRRR - Motorola Q Forum

When I plug my Q into the wall, the profile automatically changes to Car and it will not ring!

I change the profile to normal and it will still not work. I restart and plug it into my USB and it will ring while attached to the USB.

But on a wall charge or car charge, it will not work! This is a 2 day old phone from Sprint!

Please help!!

Also, sometimes when I take it off the charger, the phone will lock and I have to take out the battery to restart. Any ideas??

Check each individual profile setting...and make sure it's not set to switch profiles automatically.

Since it's still new, if all else fails you can always do a master reset! It usually will solve any problems but it wipes the phone clean.

I'm not sure how to check if it changes to automatically. It's not on automatic! Any ideas guys?

like j said, master reset, it will wipe everything, but it usually solves all problems

The phone is 5 DAYS old.... I've had more bad luck with these things!
