Default No Problems with VZW

Besides the hold by the balls VZW has on its customers, I have had zero bugs in my phone. A lot of the problems I read about are with other carriers. Have VZW people had that many serious bugs with the phone? Like defects, not quirks that need to be adjusted to.

Are you implying VZW is the only one? Which carrier doesn't do this?

Regarding the relevant part of your post, I've had my Q for more than a year with very few issues. Any problems I have are generally due to me messing around with it.

My biggest complaints with it are poor battery life and the keyboard -- it misses keystrokes and I'm constantly fixing typos.

No implications here. Just stating the only part of my Q I haven't exactly enjoyed. Relevance? The relevance of that portion of the post is that IN MY PARTICLAR situation the hardware has been exceptional BUT the expensive data plan for example is something that makes being a user somewhat unpleasant while under VZW. Ready to dissect this post too? Let me know if anything else is so irrelevant that you must comment on it. And by the way, where does relevance come into play when it's MY post? Was my comment irrelevant to my ..thoughts?

Ok, sure.
You knew the data plan price before you agreed to the plan. The irrelevant part is claiming the VZW "hold by the balls" (or is that TruckNutz?) since you're asking about the hardware. Look for Rant/Rave forums if you just want to complain about pricing.

Nothing else at the moment, thanks.

Nah, just in a mood! I did give a legitimate response though. Hope that didn't go unnoticed.

Yes I did know the data plan price before hand. However, to get the full capability of the Q the data plan is necessary, for this user at least.

With the possbile exception of Sprint, I think the data plans for all US carriers are over priced. But I suppose if they made them too affordable, then the network might get seriously bogged down, affecting voice calling, too. So until they get everything upgraded to fiber and get more bandwidth to play with and still make money for the stockholders, I'm guessing we won't see much change. (This is purely speculative on my part, though.)

(Although I can hope for a mass defection of Verizon users to Sprint, thereby causing Verizon to lower their rates to the same levels, right?)
