Newbie Question: How do you reboot your phone?

if its frozen take out the battery and put it back in....
if its not frozen hold down the red 'end' button for a few seconds and it will turn off

I recently purchased a Q from Alltel, and every morning since I've had the phone freeze, resulting in me having to pull the battery to restart it. I've had the phone for less than a week, and all I've done to it is manually add contacts, change my background, and install Skype. I do KB lock frequently, but it has frozen up even after I've left the KB lock off.

Is it common for Qs to act up like this? If this is an extraordinary problem I need to get this thing replaced ASAP.

i would say yes look into replacing it.. this is not normal behavior..

I'm new to both Q and this board, so I ended up posting my gripe without having poured over everyone's comments.

I'm going to go ahead and return it tomorrow, since it seems like you either have a functioning or non-functioning Q with little in the way of permanently fixing it.
