oi~

i'm new here.. still a Razr owner but maybe soon a Q owner. my boss has one and he made me wild about it :}
having some talks w/ Verizon and hopefully we can find a way for me to update (not too long ago updated to this Razr, and 2-3 weeks later the Q was released, would have gone for the Q if i only would have none..) anyway..

fingers crossed :}

Then, my friend, you are out of luck unless you buy one outright.

a Verizon employee told me a few different options by email... one was upgrade and pay $169.00, considering doing that and my wife would take the Razr (if possible)

brings up a question, would i be able to keep my current plan or are plans for smart phones different ?

too long :}

seriously.. a Verizon customer rep. called last night and we almost had a deal where i would buy the Q for $299.99 and Motorola would rebate me $100.00.. then i saw that new customers can get the Q for $99.99 and i wanted that (before all that i proposed i will pay $169.00 -Amazon price- but he couldn't get his supervisor to approve that.)

i felt and still feel that new customers get better deals then loyal (been w/ them for 6 years) excisting customers.

You can use your current plan and add $45/month for data... but getting the combo-plan might be more economical.
