System Tools or Repair New U.S. Cellular User - Call quality question.

Hello all,

I got my Q about 2 weeks ago on the day U.S. Cellular started selling them. This site has been a great help and I love my Q more everyday. I have one gripe, but I'm wondering if somebody here knows of settings that might help. I get great signal reception, but the sound of my caller's voice is ... well... not good. Sounds like they're talking into a tin can...muffled but echoey at the same time. Do the "audio enhancements" settings effect how the caller sounds or just music through the speakers/earphones? Is there anywhere in the phone that I can adjust the clarity/sharpness of the caller, and if so, what would those settings be?

Thanks so much,
Shell

My call quality is good. I just got omy Q a week ago and have no complaints about the quality. Maybe its the cellular provider's region. I did get some calls from across the country and noticed slight differences in clarity. But nothing too terrible. BTW I live in Chicago

I'd call and compain. Sounds like a network or tuning issue. Mine is on Sprint and call quality on Q is excellent.

Be sure to test with a Landline because it can be the other parties you call as well.

Well that's an interesting thought, but I never noticed a consistent difference from one caller to the next on my last phone. So far I am disappointed generally, not just with a call here or there. I'll have to pay closer attention, though...
