 |  New to the Q and texting... Hey guys! I just picked up a Q last Saturday as a replacement for my vx9800. So far I'm really loving the phone. But I seem to be having some sort of an issue with texting. I tried searching the forums but couldn't find information on my issue. It seems that whenever someone (Verizon or not) tries to send me a plain text message over 160 characters the message is cut off. And I then get another message telling me "Preceeding message was modified to comply with this handset. Media objects were removed.". Although there were no media objects in the original message. I was just wondering if anyone else has this issue and what I might be able to do to fix it if possible. Thanks so much for any help! Have a great day! |

Ok thanks for the information. I just got off the phone with customer service. They're telling me that the Q does not support enhanced messaging service for whatever reason. Kinda wierd, I thought this phone would support such a small feature considering all the other bells and whistles. | |

| If it is compatabillity issues i don't believe so. Suggestion: Get Textman that way you can send 2 text's back to back and still not use up to much of your time. As far as recieving text. Well, tell the sender to get a new phone. :P |
