New Q user

I just returned my chocolate and purchased a Q Black.
Looking forward to learning and using it.

I do miss the VZ Navigator for 10.00 a month or 2.99.

get google maps or yahoo maps (both are free) and then get a BT GPS receiver and BAM....navigation!

I heard that Verizon might be poring VZ Nav to Q.
I like the Turn by Turn instructions.
Would google maps do that with a GPS?

you wont get a listed turn by turn with google but a point to point view and your little dot on the screen if you get a gps

Windows Live Search (new version available) give turn by turn instructions on bottom of the screen while an arrow follows your GPS signal.

It now beeps about an 1/8 of a mile before the turn then again at the turn.

The instruction now counts down the mileage to the turn and the maps are smoother especially with your cache set to 128 MB on the storage card.

Can you tell I'm loving the new update of WLS?

(for trying to decide....you can try it w/o a GPS and scroll the map manually to get a sense of how it works. Please try this as a passenger and not while driving as it requires way too much attention without the GPS getting WLS to follow your route)
