Favorite New Motorola Q user!! Help please?

Hi! I just purchased my first Motorola Q yesterday. I am so confused what each feature does. I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer?

1. What is ClientShell.exe that is always running?
2. I don't even know what Wireless Sync is and I think it wastes my battery but I don't need use for it, so how can I disable it or remove it.
3.Also, Wireless Sync is on my home screen, how can I get that off?
5. On the top of my screen those little arrows are always on, how do I get those off and I read it costs money is that true?

Anything else I need to know, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help with out with all of this. Thanks!!

not sure about wireless sync, i've never really messed with it. The icon with the arrows above the signal meter is an indicator that the phone is in an area where it's able to transfer data. It does not mean you are currently transferring data nor does it cost you any money. As far as wireless sync, it should not be draining your battery as long as you are not running it. I'd go into the task manager to make sure it's not running, and kill it if it is.

wireless sync is bascially the active sync with out the USB cable. you can receive email and in put contacts to your computer and they will sync right over without having to plug in your Q. the email portion pushes the email to your Q as soon as your Q sees that you have mail. where as if you set up a pop3 account it will only grab the email every 15 minutes regardless of when it was sent. the wireless sync doesnt drain the batter that much, i wouldnt worry about that. you also dont have to worry about transfering data all the time if you have the unlimited data plan from verizon (or alteast up until 5gig usage but i wouldnt worry about that). if you dont have that or any plan at all then you need to worry about it since it will cost you a small fortune especially if you have stuff set up to get your email or receive weather updates or using an instant messanger.
i hope that made some sort of sense for you

if you have activated wireless sync i believe the only way to get rid of wireless sync is to hard reset...but i might be wrong...if you do that the a hard reset will loose all of your information and you should back it up on your desktop. the clientshell.exe might be the wireless sync software running in the background
