Need help Updating software

Hey guys,
I have been having a keyboard glitch where some key work inconsistantly were others output a slew of wrong letters.... Oh and the "p" sends my text message.

Did a master reset... no good

So I want to install the latest motorola Q update. Active sync is installed with no errors, the update software recognizes my phone, but while installing the progress bar doesn't move.

After 5 minutes or so the update software says there is an error and suggests try powering on and off my phone and repluging the usb cable.

I want my phone fixed please help, do I need to go to the dos prompt screen to install? How can I get this update?

Did you get your phone wet? This sounds very much like more than a needed software upgrade. Hardware of some kind. Still under warranty?

Well, I got the update installed by going into the a+enter flash screen mode then running the software update.

I then installed the smarttoolkit.... worked awsome, soft reboot and the phone is locked down with zero service =(

Just not my day......

So can you do a master reset from file manager?

nm... i got it. My phone is alive again
