Need help customizing fields in Q for contacts - Motorola Q Forum

I want to set-up specific fields in Outlook and have them appear in my Q, e.g. (Spouse Birthday, Child Birthday, and work specific fields). I have fumbled my way to find how to create customized fields in Outlook, but they don't show up on my Q. Please help...

im not so sure you can get custom fields that you created in outlook to transfer to the Q

Do you know of any work arounds? There is certain info that I need to have available in the field and I need to find someway for my Q to be able to store the info. Do you know of any other phone/PDA that has this capability? I am getting really frustrated with the lack of capabilities on the Q. (Probably my fault for buying it instead of another PDA).

i dont know of any other phones that allow that (doesnt mean there isnt)...but one way to work around it is to use the notes field...that shows up
