Default Mysterious PUSH email account appears and can not be removed

All,

I got my Q about 2 days ago and love it so far. However, a mysterious messaging account named "PUSH" has appeared on the phone and can not be deleted. In fact, the Options can't be accessed at all for the account.

Where did this account come from and can I make it go away?

I first noticed it after changing the registry keys to disable pMSNserver from running. I've modded my Q quite a bit in 2 days with a series of registry edits and installation of the following programs.

AgileMessenger (trial)
Connected BitsWeather
Total Commander
Google Maps
jbB5 browser
AutoKeylock
.NET CF 2.0
Office WM6
Oxios Memory
PhatSpell
PHM Registry Editor
Candlelight
Spybot S&D
TCPMP
tGetFile
PocketNESterPlus
UPX4SP (nothing compressed yet)

It's worth noting that I currently have Gmail and Exchange setup on the Q.

You are correct!

Uninstalling and reinstalling jB5 makes the account appear and disappear.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I'm curious if there's any function for this PUSH account?

I also noticed it and I didn't know if it had to do with Palringo, but I did recemtly install jb5. So why would they put a push folder on there? sounds fishy.

Here's the explanation from JB5 in case anyone's wondering..still seems useless to me...

Installation created a account called Push in my email account. What is this?

WAP Push account is an account created by jB5 to receive WAP Push messages. This is integrated with the default messaging application for the user’s convenience. Please refer to topic for more information on WAP Push.

What is WAP Push?

jB5 Windows Mobile browser is a truly mobile browser, thus supporting features that were a part of the classical WAP Browser. WAP Push is one such feature where a service provider can choose to “push content to the mobile handset over SMS. A WAP Push messages basically contains an embedded URL. Selecting this URL will invoke jB5 automatically and retrieve the content.
WAP Push in jB5, is integrated with the default messaging application to receive these WAP Push messages. Do check with your network service provide regarding enabling/disabling WAP Push service.
