My Q get freezes up on booting...help

My Verizon Q freezes up when I power it on. It goes to the Verizon banner and then goes no further. I have tried to do a reset with the red power button and the middle joy stick like button but it does nothing. I have removed the battery as well and even replaced it with one from a friends and it still does the same. I have to remove the battery to get it to shut down once it has the Verizon banner on. The backlight also stays on.

Anyone else have this problem? I bought this phone off of Ebay about a week ago. It has worked great up until now. It looks like it was made in 40/06 per the sticker so I am assuming it is probably still under factory warranty with Moto.

Any help is appreciated!

same thing happened to me..like a week ago..im pissed..i dnt know how to fix it.ohh well!!!!!!!

Verizon was nice enough to replace my phone under warranty for free. That fixed the problem and my phone works like a champ now!
