Default My Bluetooth H700 powers off my Q..why?

I just bought the H700 Bluetooth headset for my Q. I love the thing, quality is good, I have no complaints except for one.

Sometimes, not all the time, whenever I turn the Bluetooth feature on the handset and use the headset, it will turn off my Q automatically without me knowing. I can be in the car, the Q will say the H700 has connected, so im driving and I was expecting a call which I never received. When I looked at the Q i noticed it was off?????? This has happened about 3 times the past 1 full day I have had it. My Q would never power off by itself before, does anyone know why the Bluetooth would cause this? Is there something im missing, a process possibly when Im done using the headset, or about to use it. Should I return the headset or is it a Q issue?

Thanks for your feedback.

wow thats pretty wild, have you tried a different headset to see if it does the same thing. i wouldnt think that would be a headset issue as much as a phone issue

Are you with TELUS by any chance? If you are, try H670 instead of H700.

My Garmin Nuvi GPS would occasionally make my phone restart. I had Motorola replace the phone and the new one does not exhibit this problem. You probably have a bad one too.

Default The answer as to why My Bluetooth H700 powers off

Had the same problem. Found the reason. When the battery in the Q gets low you will find that the head set will usually just lose connection. Sometimes it will even power off. Took it back to the dealer and he confirmed that this was the problem. Check to see if the next time it happens if you are not low on battery life in the Q.

Good Luck!
