Mp3 volume issue

So I just bought a Motorola stereo headset from Telus...and the quality is sh*t compared to my old Sony Clie it's not that loud...and I already tried adjusting the Audio Enhancement but didn't make that much difference...now does anybody know if there's a program/update/hack or whutever to increase the volume and/or quality of the audio? I know that all my mp3s that I've downloaded to my Q are 192 Kbps and up and my old Sony Clie only accepts 132 Kbps mp3s but there was a huge difference in sound quality...I was even thinking if I should just return the stereo headset and find my old Motorola V. headset (the orange-colored peanut-looking phone that I got on my 16th birthday lol) hopefully it's somewhere around here and hopefully it has the same jack just like the one I just bought....but yeah if anyone could suggest/help something that would be great! thanks
