moto q text problems! help!

ok... this is a little hard to explain i guess....

Out of the box the phone works great. when i input text everything is working correctly. When i hit the alt key, and lets say i want to type in "@" it shows up as "@". Affter i do ANYTHING to the phone i start to get problems.

My problem is when i want to type "@" i get 4
when i want to type ")" i get 0
when i want to type "!" i get a 1

then i have to do a master reset. The wrong characters show up are consistant, they are always the same character such as the "!" always shows up as 1. But the problem is i CANNOT replicate the problem to one thing

Now when i install 3rd party software, or home screens, RANDOMLY the problem starts. I try installing Qtask.. and the text works fine. then i install fizz weather, and i get the 1 iinstead of !. so i thoguht fizz weather was giving me problems. Then master reset, and install Qtask again. But his time without installing or doing anything else. I start to get 1 instead of !. Then i master reset and install fizz weather again. it works fine! then i install Qtask and it works fine! then i put in a custome home screen and i go back to the same shit.. i have tried every combination possible, such as installing to the storage card and the device. sometimes when i install Qtask it works fine but then when i go to register it it shows 1 instead of !

this is getting on my nerves!!! can anyone please help???

when i master resest the phone, when im typing, i press the alt key and h and i get the character !... thats all goood.... now it dosnt duplicate the same way all the time... thats why im having a hard time figuiring it out... ok so either after i install qtask(ive tried to both the device and SD card) or after i type in the registraion code, no when im trying to type i get messed up character ONLY ON when im using alt and its only with a couple of the keys. everytime the alt plus h should show up as ! but type a 1 on my Q. the & key shows a 7 and the @ key shows a 2. but my = sign shows up correctly. The incorrect text s consistant, everytime it gets messed up, the same incorrect charcters show, but i cant figuire why this happens, and the onyl way to fix it is to master reset the Q.
