 |  Moto Q Freezing and shuts off.. Hey, My Moto Q keeps restarting its self, but when it turns back on it stays on the MTS screen.. anyone know whats going on? it also randomly goes to the MTS screen, right before the Windows Media screen.. thanks |

   | how long has this been going on ? you haven't installed and/or messed with the registry lately ? would a Master Reset be an option ?

| nope have not messed with anything.. i didnt put any programs on it or anything.. im thinking a restore is needed.  its not even charging any more, but there is still half a battery.. but i gotta go to school. let me know if you know anything i can do! |

| im chargin it from the PC right now, the wall charger is at my moms.. so I charge it from both about 50/50. i might have got it, but i need to figure out how to get the pim.vol onto my phone again. |

 | that may be your problem. In general a USB port cannot supply enough power to charge a drained battery. The standard wall charger supplies power of 5 Volts at 850 mAh. Even a high power USB port (while still at 5 Volts) only supplies power at a rate of 500 mAh. In some previous discussions here we worked out that if a charger is rated under 500 mAh it won't always work correctly, but in your situation (basically) the USB cannot supply power quite as fast as the phone would need to charge a drained battery. As far as copying the pim.vol back to the phone, I believe that you may need resco or something like it to overwrite the current copy (you may be able to do it from the PC, but I'm not sure on that one since I've never tried)
