is there any web based version of AOL instant messenger that i would be able to use on internet explorer on my motorola Q so that i wont get charged for text messages??

not sure (i don't use IM on my Q), did you see/read this thread, the other day there was someone with a new free IM program, the thread can be found here.

if you use the IM programs they dont count as text messages...they just count as data useage

so using the IM programs are basically the same as going on internet explorer and browsing the web.

thnx alot guys, im using airaim because u need googletalk with octro so i dont wanna go thru the process of creatin one.

doesnt take that long to create a googletalk account...or you can try out IM+ or agile messanger
