moto Q

this question(s) probaly have been posted before

my friend says he can give me a moto Q this one

his service was Alltel mine is Verzion.

1. can i use this phone with my service?
2. from the searching i have don is this a safe method

ok, i am looking on my end and using the search feature.
but, all i seem to find is verzion/other carrier to alltel flash or alltel firmware.

all i can find out about using this phone on verizon is a "No".

and the link i posted above saying you can.

so which one is it?

i have been seeing the answer "No" more than yes.

i'm just finding it hard to believe that you cannot flash this phone to verzion.
but i'm not seeing enough info on this forum to trust the above method of flashing.

O'well guess i hit a dead-end.

I highly doubt that is possible. I thought about buying a Verizon Q and sticking in on my Sprint account but I didn't see a way to do so. Plus if it ever breaks, I'm not sure Verizon will service it.
