Default Menus Time Out - UPDATED

For example. If I go into the Bluetooth manager screen and then to Settings and let it sit there. In a about 10 seconds, the menu times out and returns to the main menu even before the backlight goes out.

There has to be a setting to prevent this somewhere but darned if I can find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

At this point, I do believe that there is something wrong with the software on this device. Let me run it by you guys and see what you think..

My problem is with sending txt messages. Let me start out by saying that thsi is my 4th Q and I have only seen this happen on this latest phone.

I have my home screen timeout set to like 10 seconds. When sending a TXT message, the INFO screen still pops up as it has normally done in the past. What differs on this phone from anyother one is that before in the past, the INFO screen would clear its self out, even with no Home Screen Timeout set. Now, even with a Home Screen Timeout time set, the INFO screen never clears, forcing me to hit the OK button every time. What is also pretty strange is that I have to clear out the INFO screen before my phone will dnload any new txt messages. So, lets say that I send a txt and then put down the phone. I wont know that I have a new txt untill I clear out that INFO screen and allow the phone to dnload the new TXT messages. This is quite a pain and I do believe that there is a problem with the software in this new phone.

Any comments on what "normal" operation should be will be apprecatied.
