Make Your Mobile Browser appear to be a PC Browser Before applying this hack, check out google and then after applying the hack look at google again. 1. Open a reg editor 2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent 3. Make sure the “Default” value is set to "Mozilla/4.0" (if not change it) 4. Change the "Version" value from MSIE 4.01 to "MSIE 6.0". 5. Change the "Platform" value from Windows CE to "Windows NT 5.0". 6. Reboot your Phone Why use the hack? Some webmasters have thier sites setup to check for browser version. When the site detects a mobile browser version they can redirect you to more viewer friendly version of the site. However, there are some places that you may not be able to access because you are running a mobile browser. So the idea is to trick the site into thinking you running a PC version of IE. On a side note you may still be directed in some cases, as a redirect can be set by screen resolution. This tweak is a reguritated version of a tweak found on another site geared for Pocket PC's. So, cred belongs to Frank Vandebergh
