Default Lost all of my home screen info

I took my battery out about 20 minutes ago to see what the ESN # was, and when I put it back in, there was a message on my home screen that said that the selected home screen could not be viewed. I opened up the file manager, went to the application data folder, and my Home folder is totally empty. Everything was fine before I took the battery out. Does anyone know the possible cause of this? This totally blows.

That's actually an obvious question, not odd...

I have a backup, so it's not all that troublesome. It just puzzles me how I can take my battery out, and then not have any home screen info at all when I put it back in.

ding ding ding.... we have a winner, isn't strange i actually am surprised you have a backup... good for you.!!

taking the battery out should not have that consequence for sure.. you even turned the Q off before removing the battery ? i sometimes have to pull it if the Q freezes but never lost an entire directory..

I did turn the phone off before I removed the battery... and like you said, I've never lost an entire directory before for doing that. Even my Facade stuff is gone. I've never seen anything like this.

Thanks for your response...
