logic to "contacts" order/display?

hey, i'm a recent Q subscriber. for the life of me, i cannot figure out why, when i go into Contacts, then hit "P" (for example), rather than displaying all the P's from my contact list in a logical alphabetical order (my old phone did it by first name), it gives me EVERY address in my Contacts that has a P in it. and the P is highlighted. but otherwise, there is no "order" to speak of. when i go to options, and "view", it only gives me the option to view it by name or company. doesn't change a thing order-wise. ??

also, is the general rule that the address/contacts must be within EACH email program you have in there? i have an outlook acct (work) and personal acct (earthlink) on my Q. when i recently went to send an email from earthlink and went to "add recipient" from my contacts, the earthlink contact list was incredibly compressed. yet, i am sure her address is in my contact list. is there a way to create just one mass list that works with both accounts?

I can't address your second question, but if you continue to type letter of the persons name, the field will narrow to the point you only have that contact or a few to select from. My old phone required I scroll after the first letter. This for me is much easier. Hope this helps some.
