Lock to EVDO

I'm in a area where I'm constantly bouncing back and forth between 1x and EVDO. Is there any way to "lock" the Q to EVDO?

I've searched, but can't find anything.

Thanks, but that code doesn't work for me. It dials the number and I get an idiot message saying that isn't a real number.

Any other Ideas? I'm using alltel if that matters.

You'll need your MSL...if you don't have it, you can call your carrier, and they *should* give it to you.

If the above works, then enable the field test menu, and that should enable the "debug" code posted by berdar.

o yeah i forgot on some phones you have to enable debug mode... this should solve the problem for berdar

no ever1s msl is different just call alltel an tel them you need it to program your phone

master subsidy lock.. just call them and say that you need to progran your phoe and you need your msl code or service code
