Question Listening to music on Q with headphones

What ways are possible?

I tried using an usb audio adaptor that I used my Razr V3i on, but the Q does not even detect it.

I know theres a 2.5mm jack I tried it, (maybe faulty headphones or not the right kind) I only got sound out from 1 side.

I would like to use headphones like an mp3 player any kind would be fine even with an adaptor, instead of blasting out the speakers

Off course bluetooth is an option, but Im sticking with wired for now

did you search first ? you need a 2.5mm jack with 3 rings.. it's discussed often so a search should help you out.

If you have a Radio Shack near you, go there. Or go online to their site and search for a 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo adapter. I bought one and it works perfectly with my Q.

Motorola has a 2.5 mm jack adapter for your 3.5 mm headsets. Radio Shack is supposed to have an adapter we well. They work good and a whole lot cheaper than blue tooth sets.

Someone ought to get the Q Store to sell them!!!

Like stated before when you get the adapter make sure it has the three rings. Just look on the end of the adapter it should have 3 black rings on the male end. You can also purchase a headset made specific for these phones with the 2.5mm that have he 3 rings and also have a mic so you can take phone calls without having to unplug the headset or just get a bluetooth headset. I got a wired samsung pair. Check your carriers website under headset accesories.
