Keypad stuck in "Alt"

The keys are all stuck in the Alt function. This happens specifically when I Use PocketNester. The display does not show the keys in the Alt state, but they function like they are. Only way I can get them out of this perma-alt state is to reset. Any idea what is causing it?

if you press alt key 2 times in a row it stays on...you have to press it again to take it out of the alt function

I tried that, the display still says "abc" and not "alt" even if i do that, but its still pumping out the alt characters. Thing is, when im using PocketNESter i never hit the alt key.


Ok, so i was playing Super mario brothers, and not i got it to lock the keypad. Not the same, but similar. Could this possibly be because I used the tgetfile.dll that doesn't alert you every 5 opens or what ever? I tried the softkey + c to unlock, nothing. Screen dims out after 10 seconds, only thing that brings it back is the power key. Can't turn it off cause keys are locked. Battery open time. Shame too, i love super mario brothers
