is there a program that can turn off the keypad backlight??

I'm sorry if I'm misunderstanding the question, but the Q's 'settings' control for that isn't working?

no, the q doesnt have a setting to turn off the keypad trust me i've looked

Settings >> More... >> Power Management >> 'Backlight time out on battery' >> 5 seconds...

Or are you saying you want it off 'All the time" regardless of using the keypad??
