Just ordered my Q!

I just recently finished my contract with fido(thank god, 3 years with the same POS phone started to hurt). And now Im going with Solo-Mobile...I was convinced to buy the Q because of the features, I text like a mad man so the standard flip-phone wouldnt do for me. The QWERTY key-pad is the best part IMO of the PHYSICAL features. Anyway, onto my question(below)


I heard that I can turn my MP3's into ring-tones...if I can..how? (WITHOUT downloading them from the internet to the phone)

hook your phone up to the PC and from the PC copy and paste to the Q
either to the root directory of the SD card or the sounds folder on the device (the folder on the device varies per device) then just either go to sounds in settings and set it for the ringer or contacts and edit the contact you want to tone to be for

welcome to Eq for ringtones download vito ringtone editor and you can edit ringtones right on your pone without the need of a computer altogether

keep in mind. You can not stop a tone set for txt. So if you pick a long one it will play and play until it finishes.
