just got my q today few qustions - Motorola Q Forum

hey everyone! i am typing this from my q... this phone is too good to be true... i am so amazed.... i have a few weird questions so please bear with me lol....

1. ok so i use hotmail... i have for years... i got it setup with the q easy... but i get a lot of email and need to delete them fast... through hotmail i can only delete one at a time... is there a way i can select multiple messages and delete them all at once? thx

2. i would like to forward all my hotmail email to my gmail account... anyone know how i can do that? it would really be helpful....

3. java games... i read a guide on how to emulate it using ibm software.. hwever i did not understand how i could use it to play jar and jad games... any app i can download?

i am so happy to be apart of this community... i cant wait to hear from you guys!

I'll attempt to answer your questions, even though my knowledge of the Q is limited to 2 weeks.

1. I haven't seen any way to delete emails or text messages in massive quantity.. one at a time seems like the way.

2. You should be able to do this forward by logging into your hotmail acct. on your computer. I remember there being an option but their interface has changed since I used it so I can't pinpoint it without getting a new hotmail acct.

hey i was wondering... when i am in class on the weekdays i really like my phone to be completely silent with no vibration just nothing...

does anyone know if there is a way to make it silent? i have already tried editing profiles....thx!

By default, you should have a SILENT profile for your Q.... it should be completely quiet from what I can tell.

If you don't, then you'll need to edit or create a profile and make everything default to silent.
