Default Just dumped the Q for a Blackberry 8830

For those of you considering a Q for business purposes, thought I'd share my experience. I moved from a bberry to a Q 3 weeks ago. Couldn't stand the poor battery life and email interface on the Q. Just exchanged it for the bberry 8830 and couldn't be happier. The Q was a fun toy, but the bberry is the workhorse I need.

How well do 3G and apps like SlingBox work on the 8830?

I went from 2 years with BB 7290 and I tried both 8830 and Q before settling on Q. BB 7290 was excellent for E-Mail and handling contacts but the phone kinda sucked.

I found the 8830 to have a horrible human interface (keyboard essentially unusable, trackball not precise enough) I dreaded having to type anything and missed the thumbwheel with click on side for 1 handed operation. The Software and Battery Life were typically excellent and phone was better than 7290.

I now use Moto Q and the software is buggy but form factor and keyboard are superior to BB by leaps and bounds.

"Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong".

I have a BB 8830 I get to use for 2 weeks and then I get to use a Q for 2 weeks to make my mind up on which I like better.
