Interesting Problem.

I was traveling out of town the other day and was using the car charger. I later noticed I missed 4 calls and several text messages.

It seems that when I am using a car charger, my phone does not ring at all. It will still show the missed call and text icons but it will not sound/notify me.

Anyway to change this?

I dont think there is anyway to change it. Sounds like a device error to me.

I had nearly the exact same problem, in my case the car charger i purchased (from ebay) changed the phones profile to "Car" eventhogh it was only a charger and not a car kit. The phone then tries to force the ring through the "car kit" which has no speaker. Look at the phone when you plug it in, and see if it goes to "car" under profile, you can switch it manually but i have not figured a way to make it not change when I connect it. I have since purchased a new car charger...
