Default Infinite scrolling

This may have been discussed before but I could not find any other posts. I have noticed that one thing I like about blackberries is that when you scroll up or down in a menu or on a page, the scroll bar stops at the end of the range. On my Q, the scroll bar continuously resets itself so you could scroll indefinitely and you have to make sure you don't scroll to far in order to avoid ending up at the beginning of the menu. Is there a way to stop this infinite scrolling, either through the device settings or through the registry?

Thanks,
Mike

if you scroll past and end up at the top again you can reverse the scroll and go back to the bottom just like you accidentally wound up at the top...

unless i am misunderstanding the question...

Thanks for the quick response. I understand that I can always get back to where I need to go but on other devices, when you are at the end of a menu, you stay there until you scroll back. It gives a much better sense of where you are in the menu/page/etc. I find it to be much more intuitive. It seems like something that would be easy to fix and I find it surprising that other people have not brought this up although they might have.
Thanks
Mike
