Exclamation In desperate need of help :(

I have posted this as well in the Q9H thread, in case someone may be able to offer some help as well

I had just received a brand new Moto Q9H via my boss to use and try out for a few days. You can all imagine how excited I was to try this phone out as the feature set and quality of phone is amazing. What happened before I gave back the phone is the issue, and welcome any ideas in fixing my current issue. I am very new to windows mobile, I have been using blackberries for some time now, so this is a whole new OS to me. After a few days of use I was going to give it back to my manager and because of that I wanted to do a master clear and have it nice and clean for him, or anyone else that might be using the device. I went ahead and selected that option and entered in the six 0's needed to continue on and wipe the device. Everything appeared to be fine until it restarted, I saw the normal startup screens from ATT, 3G fireballs and all that, but then when it got to the green windows mobile screen it just stopped. I have tried many things, pulling the battery, restarting the phone, etc etc, and all it does is go back to this green windows mobile screen, kind of like a screen saver and just sits there.

What are my options here? Can I erase this whole device by connecting it to my pc and reinstall windows mobile? Is there a file I can replace through activesync that may fix my issue and get me back to my normal home screen and get this phone back in working order? Any help is welcome, I desperately need it right now

can't re-install the OS, its built in.

with the Q turned off... press and hold the chrome button on d-pad while powering the Q back on.
This is anther way to perform a master reset.

thank you for the reply, unfortunately I have tried this numerous times already with the same results I held down the chrome button and then held down the power button until it saw the att logo, knowing that it was powering on, and then I released both buttons, still ends up going to the green windows mobile graphic and sits there

I though the 9h you did two letters instead of center button. Like E and Z or something....

leave them both down, if done correctly it should come up in flash boot mode and ask if you want to do a master reset.

Apparently others have tried it and it didn't fix the key mapping issue

yeah thats what I did, I left them both down until the phone started back up, never went to that screen that your talking about though. Just right back to that green windows mobile screen and then shut back down if I kept holding down the power key.. anything else? I have heard about some other key combination but I thought that was for older Q's

it should come up in that screen, it took me many tries to get it do it the first time I had to reset that way

not sure about other key combo's besides the one mentioned here and in the other thread
