I'm a New Moto Q user and my first forum to join....

This is kinda stupid to ask but I'm really kinda novice in terms of Windows Mobile...

I'm more inclined in doing graphics and skinning... a little in programming... If its not that hard to ask to the Moto Q guru's, I'll put my questions in list

1. What software to use to edit and install some softwares? (Since most of I see here are coding)
2. What is the best place to start reading and getting ideas on what Moto Q I have... I really do not know since there are lots of version of Moto Q.
3. What software to open like the files of some skins here so that I can mod it perfectly.
4. Lastly, I do not know what else to ask....

I hope someone out there can give me this information thanks...

you do not need to edit software... check out this post for help installing software.

to edit homescreens most here use Notepad or any other plain jane ascii editor..

if it's WM6 it's a Q9 or Q8 (only in Europe i believe).. so now it depends on the carrier.

Q9m = Verizon
Q9c = Sprint
Q9h = AT&T

Ahhh.... Now I understand.... btw rudeboy this is an openline moto Q without any subcription since I'm in Asia.... So I will be just reading in Motorola Q I presume?

we consider the Q1 the original Moto Q, which as far as i know was never released with WM6.
