Hey guys....
I think enough is enough...... I charged my Q sooooo much that im getting sick of the battery life. I full charged it 8 AM and the battery is dead within not even 12 hours, with LOW LOW usage: five 2 minutes calls and surfing the internet for 5 minutes....
I know some ppl might throw rocks at me if i ask this here... but had anyone had experience with the Treo 700wx.... how is it? wt about the BATTERY LIFE??????????????

I am a new user, but there is a lot of info on this site about ways to preserve your battery life. What have you done to combat your battery drainage?

Sorry to hear. Have you tried replacing the battery to see if you have a bad one.

I agree the battery life is really bad when its even working. I am having trouble with my battery not charging.

Cingular gave everyone a free extended battery that bought a BlackJack.

Unless you are deadset on changing phones. Make sure you have done what you could to maximize your battery life. There are LOTS of threads on that here. If that doesn't work take the phone to your service provider and let them know your situation. They will either give you a new device or a new battery. If you get a new battery and that doesn't fix the problem. Then you have a bad phone. If you get a phone and it doesn't improve then you have a bad battery.

With that light usage I can get 48 hours of use. You either have a bad battery, phone or your power settings,etc are out of wack. Are you getting a solid signal of EV?

We all know that the Q does not have a battery life as advertised. The power issue is the only reason why I miss my RAZR. But, I would not go back. Carrying a PDA AND a phone was just too much hassle.

Wow - I'm guessing you have a bad battery, charger or both. I would get a full (10 hrs?) day out of the Sprint Q with Exchange sync, a few calls, and surfing and still have 10-25% left. With the Seidio extended battery (2100mAH) I have 75% left at the end of the day!

I agree. It also seems like dif. Q's have dif. battery life. Get a new/extra battery and car charger.

i have the verizon Q and extended battery and will only get 12 hours of heavy usage before it dies. Lately my phone has been locking up and not taking a charge when plugged in to the motorola wall charger over night. i wake up to a dead phone and a battery so low it won't even power up the phone.
Verizon swapped my phone and extended battery but the new phone had the same problem.
