Default How to access your contacts on your computer

Hey guys, i've tried the search feature with no luck....here is my question....I have to add many new contacts for work to my Q, right now I've been doing it manually through the keyboard on the phone, My question is there a way that i can edit and store the contacts on my computer and then Sync them to my Q....or is there away i can get all my contact from the Q to my computer for edit/add...thanks guys...a new job with lots of new faces can be blamed for this.

My outlook automatically sync my address book to my phone and vice versa. You can go into that and add them there. Guess it kinda depends on what email you use. Im sure there is some 3rd party app that someone will suggest but I dont use them.

I'm not sure about selectively syncing contacts.

You Q and Outlook should sync your new contacts automatically when you connect your phone to your PC. I have Vista Ultimate and Outlook 2007 and I don't have any problems.

i do not think you can selectively sync contacts... isn't it that both sides (pc & Q) compare contacts and update both ways ? whenever i change anything on either one, the other takes over that info..

(i use Outlook 2003 + Active Sync)

Speaking of contacts syncing. I remember how frightened I got once. My Q was yet newly bought and I installed activesync at work, too, and when I connected my Q, I suddenly realized that all the contacts may now sync with my mobile and it was about 3 000 contacts :D (I work in a big company). Thankfully, it didn't touch Global address book and only synced my personal outlook contacts. I find it rather convenient than not.

Contacts that are in you main contacts folder will sync only when using activesync. It there are contacts you don't want on your phone, create sub folders under contacts and place them there.
