Default How do you switch between applications?

I recently loaded a very cool Nintendo game emulator that works very well. But when the phone rings or a reminder pops up I can't get back to the emulator that is still running. If run it again I just end up with multiple versions running in task manager.

Thanks in advance.

The only program that I know of that does this is Qtask.

Lovely. Yet another program that I have to pay for in order to provide basic functionality that has existed since Windows 3.1. Nothing like good ol' ALT+TAB to do the trick in "big" Windows and it doesn't cost another $7-15.

Sorry for the sarcasm but the lack of basic features and accessories is getting a little annoying.

have you tried pressing the back key (next to end key) from the home screen after your call was finished? this should work to bring you back to the emulator or which ever program you were using last. then just hit file and select either resume or continue. then youre back to playing!

i found that using the back button will bring you back to the last program you used (that was not exited.)

lets say that you opened up your newest text message by going to messaging>text message>'1st text'. when youre done reading it, you press the red end button to exit to take you back to the home screen. pressing the 'back' key from the home screen will bring you back to the '1st text'.

on the other hand, instead of doing what i just mentioned above, if you were to press the 'back' key through the previous 'messaging' screens to get to the home screen, this would 'close' the program. (but we know that its not really closed, the process is still running in the task manager) you would then not be able to use this 'back' function.

did that make sense? well anyway, hope i helped.

PhoneAlarm has a very capable built in Task Manager. I am not suggesting anyone buy pA for the Task Manager, but for those who already have it, it is a hidden gem. I have it set to pop up when I press the center of the dpad.
