Is there a hack that I am missing that will allow me to change the IE homepage link on my main screen. I get some preloaded handango site from VZW. I would prefer it to be google.

you need to edit the homescreen xml file with a text editor.

the default homescreens are located in \Application Data\Home. you might have to unhide Hidden and System files to view them all.

once you open your current homescreen xml, search for "handango..." link and replace it with the google link.

to get the new homescreen working right away, just switch to another homescreen. then switch back to the homescreen you just fixed.
