Jerry,
It seems like I have found a simpler way to get the contacts across without using 3 steps. You need to first make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your Q. (In your start menu)
Then follow these steps:
Use Bluetooth technology to beam Calendar appointments, Contacts, Tasks, Memos from a Windows Mobile smartphone
Calendar appointments, Contacts, Tasks and Notes are known as PIM items. PIM stands for Personal Information Manager, such as Microsoft Outlook on a PC. Depending on what is on the receiving device, PIM items may be accepted directly into the desktop PIM in their original forms, or they may be accepted as generic or unknown files. How to beam PIM items via Bluetooth technology:
- On your smartphone, open the item in Calendar, Contacts, Tasks or Notes.
- Press Menu, and select Beam.
- Your smartphone will search for Bluetooth wireless devices in range. When you see the name of the device you wish to send to, tap the device and you smartphone will begin sending the item.
- The way the item is accepted depends on the software on the receiving device:
***You might have trouble with the contact formats (*.*) after they are sent, but you will have to test first. It should be fine if both are running Windows.
