Help Please - Motorola Q Forum

I bought a Q off of ebay and it said to be mint condition. All buttons work great except for the "w" key and the "a" and "q" key are sticking sometimes. Is there anyway to clean it. I can push hard on the a and q and they work but the "w" is not working at all no matter how hard i push. What can i do to fix it?

you can try to master reset the device..if you just got it and dont have anything on it yet
but it will take it to out of the box state so if you DO have info on it back it up

if nothing after that there isnt really anything you can do other than take it apart and clean it...which i would not recommend

i tried to do that and its asking me for the master code...how do i find that?

ok i reset it and its still not working. is there anyway to clean it without taking it apart

you really cant clean it without taking it apart.

In order to take it apart you will have to have some very fine tools and a good mechanical inclination (so that you can figure out how it goes back together).

just simply g to the sprint / verizon or w/e carrier u have store and ask themnicely to open it up and clean it out or tell the your buttons are sticking

Is there anyway to give me my Passwords to the various sites I signed up for? Being 82 I can't remember is there a way to keep them listed on my MotoQ?Thank you,
