Default HELP!!! Bad, Bad Buzz on my Q

Hello all,

For the first time in a long time I have come across a problem on my Q that I can neither explain or resolve. Maybe you can help. Here is what's happening.

For two days now my Q (set on meeting) has vibrated as if I missed a call every 15 minutes. Until an hour or so ago everytime this occurred it was on a quarter hour and I believed it was an appointment reminder in the Calendar feature. I turned the reminders off. There is no appointment in my phone (nor has there been) and yet the problem continues. What could it be.

I go to my running programs each time and it's usually contacts and/or text that are running. A few times it has been the appointments feature of the calendar but this is probably because I have been fooling with the Calendar settings in my search for a solution.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I'm sending this back to motorola under their 1 year warrantly if I can't fix things soon.

Can't wait to see what words you offer. Thanks in advance for the help.

Brian

Could it be a missed call or a message?

Thanks for helping. No. There are no missed calls and I checked my voicemail and text messages - nothing there either. It sucks. I'll be talking on the phone and then have to feel this long, vibrating, missed-message buzz right against my head. God make it stop. Any and all help still welcome.

Heres a freebie to try..in SKTools Lite you can delete the Notifications in Queue. Worth a shot!

Just click on the Queue and SK will pull them all up. You can scroll through and mark which ever ones you want to delete, or just delete all. I've never heard horror stories of deleting something you shouldn't, plus SK wont anyways. I've never had trouble. You can just delete the ones that deal with alarms if you want...keep the time change ones, etc..

Once a week, I do Clean! through Notifications, and delete everything. I was saving some of the "important" looking notifications, but have been deleting all lately. Keeps a cleaner ship!

Take the battery out... that should stop the buzzing...

Thank you (I think). I powered on and off but did not remove (and replace) the battery. If your solution is to permanently take the battery out . . . well that would solve one problem and create an obvious other. Have a great weekend! -B
