Default Heh, Funny question...

Not that I dont love my Q but, I have a Best Buy warranty on my phone. So I am wondering if anyone has any ways of breaking my phone to get my warranty fulfilled, and getting a new phone once the new Q9 or the Iphone come out. Keep in mind that the screen cant be cracked or I cant have any water damage.

Sure there are ways to do it...however, you can't get an iPhone unless you switch to Cingular and their warranty does not allow you to get a phone and switch to another carrier...the other thing is that they will need to be 100% out of replacement Q's in order to "bump" up to the Q9....will take a LONG time.

Also, I believe the Q9 has been specified as being a GSM device--also not available to Verizon Wireless.

Yikes, first line of defense at Best Buy is you'll get your Q looked over by somebody at Geek Squad. I've had bad experiences with those guys.

Did you know if there's something wrong with your TV or digital camera or video camera and you've bought the notorious extended warranty that Geek Squad looks at it first? It's terrifying.

And if you must get a Best Buy warranty, make sure you specify you want to get the "Replacement" warranty. They don't advertise it and you'll pay more and they'll try to deny its existence, but that's the warranty that if it breaks, you can bring it in to get replaced on the spot.

That must be the warranty I use to have with Best Buy then. I would go into the phone discoonect the internet and then use the codes Sprint would give me (when I was programing my new phones) to remove my informationa dn number from the phone, so it couldnt make any calls. They would ALWAYS allow me to pay the diifference and get the newer Better phone. They must have causght on, cause allot of people were doing it. I returned 9 phones in 6 months. Finally they said I had wore out my warranty.

well its about 3 months until my warranty is done. still looking for any good suggestions to get a replacement at best buy. my buddy at future shop (same company as best buy) says to wipe windows and the firmware off the phone. im just thinking they might reload it when it gets repaired. maybe cutting off the key board? lol thots?
