i was just messing with you... i could have answered with a simple no although if you do the forum software says your reply is too short. anyway... does it only happen if you mms to your gf or also to other recipients ?

If you are forwarding this to her, the original persons number shows up, I forwarded something to my sister that my GF sent me, and at the bottom of the message my GF number was there. It confused my sister, but after she told me about it, i figured out what it was..

YES . . . happened to me. It cleared itself up later that day. I called Verizon and they had no clue. My best guess is that there server had a little hiccup.

There are two possible answers. Either the above answer was right and the MSC messed up its switch and sent out the wrong MDN(Mobile Directory Number).

Or I thought of something weird....When you activate service you are give your MDN...this is the number you hand out to people. Now the MSC is what handles your calls and switchs them on the towers and sends it to the other side. Now when you active your MDN you also have a MIN (Mobile Identification Number) which the MSC sees and associates with your phone number (MDN). To see if the phone put the MIN on the message and not your MDN simply call. Oddly enough if you call your MIN it will still call your mobile, so technically you get 2 numbers but only the 1 is important to you.

If you call and someone else answers, then the MSC errored and you should call VZW and get a credit of some kind. Now if you call that number and your phone rings, you just learned your MIN and are 1 of 2 customers I know of that has theirs. My MIN is not even the same area code, as a sidenote.
